AMBULANCES
The town of Hopkinton has 3 ambulances. Ambulances 2 and 3 are stationed at
Headquarters and ambulance 1 is at Station 2 in the Woodville section of town.
All ambulances are built to DOT KKK specs. A-1 is a 1994 Ford type III ambulance.
A-2 is 2001 Freightliner Horton medium duty ambulance. A-3 is a 2005 Horton
International medium duty ambulance. All ambulances are licensed to the advance
life support level. Besides the basic life support equipment they also carry
a Physio LifePak 12 defibrillator/monitor, advance airway equipment, intravenous/intraosseous
equipment and drugs to treat cardiac, respiratory, and other life threatening
emergency. All ambulance carry ice rescue suit. Ambulances 2 and 3 also carry
Scott 4.5 30-minute SCBA.
